Modern Day Renaissance

I am writing this letter from a quiet coffee shop corner adorned with vintage artifacts and aesthetics. I find there is something quite powerful that happens when we immerse ourselves in settings, contexts and experiences that awaken the senses and conjure contemplation. Environments, scents, and sounds all serve as anchors, evoking emotional connection and memory. Everything is energy and everything emits a unique frequency. There are certain words that conjure energy and emotion, and one of these words for me is renaissance. It is a word that I have contemplated for some time and have found myself feeling intrigued by in so many ways. 

A Modern Day Renaissance

We are living through one of the most transformational times in history. Undoubtedly, the most transformational time of our lifetime. Most don't know what is coming… however, many sense it, even if not completely aware. The changes transpiring are global and grand. While The Renaissance period denotes a period of time bridging the Middle Ages to the Modern Era, the word renaissance is a French word that signifies rebirth. We are in the midst of a Modern Day Renaissance, moving from the Industrial Age to the Technological Age. From Mechanical to Digital. From Mind to Body. 

From Body to Soul. 

Global Renaissance | Personal Renaissance 

Just as the macro mirrors the macro, the global renaissance mirrors our own personal renaissance. This is a powerful time of rebirth collectively and personally. It is a profound time of reimagining, redesigning, and reinventing ourselves, our lives, and the world. Everything is changing: our beliefs, systems, structures, and ways of living. I know I have been feeling this deeply and have spoken with many others who are feeling it too. This is a time to become who we are designed to be and to step into our power as co-creators of our realties. 

Chaos Precedes Creation

Through the chaos comes creation. I know my life has been full of challenges, which were actually catalysts, and moments of chaos, the inception of creation. While aspects of your life may feel challenging, remember these challenges are catalyzing your growth and becoming. Although things in the world and in our lives may appear chaotic, trust that this chaos is by divine design. It is setting the stage for a new level of creation. 

The Contraction before the Expansion 

I know in my own life I have experienced moments of intense contraction, full of fear, doubt, pain and discomfort. Yet, these moments always preceded moments of incredible transformation and expansion. The growth and the fear are not a sign that you are off path, rather they reveal that you are growing. It is often what we resist the most, that which makes us feel most uncomfortable that is most important for our soul growth and evolution. On the other side of the fear lies all we truly desire.

Anchor into Faith & Trust

While the fear feels intense, remember you always have the choice: to anchor into fear or into faith. Trust that where you are is part of your path. There is a lesson to be learned. You are being strengthened, prepared, and wisened. 

We are the architects of a new era. This is our Renaissance Era. Our Era to rise, to lead, and to become.
