Thanksgiving: A Time of Gratitude

The Holiday Season is here! In this time of Thanksgiving I’ve been contemplating how often we rush through our lives without fully noticing the beauty that is here now. In the midst of doing, striving, and becoming, we sometimes forget to slow down long enough to truly feel the miracle of life that already exists.

So today, I want to take you deeper into the frequency of gratitude; one that opens your heart, recalibrates your energy, and anchors you into your power.

Thanks | Giving

Thanksgiving is a time of giving thanks, expressing appreciation for the people we love, the food that nourishes us, the lives we live, and the version of ourselves who’s still unfolding.

But gratitude is so much more than a holiday or a moment in time.

Gratitude is a way of being.
It is the essence of life and it transforms our experience of life, others, and ourselves.

Even when circumstances feel uncertain, even when desire is stretching us and growth feels uncomfortable—there is always something to be grateful for. Not because we ignore what’s challenging, but because gratitude brings us back into truth, into the present moment where our power resides.

The Forgetting: The Gap

We've lived in a world that conditions us to focus on what we don’t yet have, what’s “missing,” or what’s next. We’ve been taught to chase the future without acknowledging the miracle of the present.

This is where the gap forms.
The gap is the space between what we have and what we desire.

Between where we are and where we want to be.

Between who we are and who we are becoming.

In that gap when we focus on what's not yet, lack festers.
Disconnection grows.

Gratitude has the power to collapse time and the gap, bringing us closer to our desires faster.

Everything you currently have was once something you deeply desired.

Your life today is evidence of your power—your ability to create, manifest, and become. Gratitude fills the gap not by shrinking your desires, but by expanding your awareness to realize how supported you already are.

Gratitude is holding a duality:
Honoring what you have while opening to what’s next.

Gratitude: A Feeling Beyond Logic

Gratitude is not a thought. Gratitude is a feeling.
It’s not a list. It was never intended to be a cognitive experience, rather an embodied one.
Gratitude is a frequency—a felt energetic state.
It is one of the highest vibrational frequencies along with joy, love, and truth.

Where mainstream gratitude often stays on the surface, true gratitude brings you into your body. It asks you to feel—to soften, to expand, to receive.

As my mentor Melanie often says,The frequency of truth is the strongest frequency on Earth.

And true gratitude is rooted in truth.
Not bypassing, nor pretending. Remembering.

Gratitude: Beyond a List

Gratitude journaling has become popular, which is beautiful—but writing down what you’re grateful for means very little if you don’t feel it.

Gratitude without embodiment is simply acknowledgment.
Embodied Gratitude creates transformation.

You experience the shift when you slow down, breathe into your heart, and allow your body to register the blessing in front of you. This is how gratitude expands your energy, elevates your emotional state, and opens you to receiving more.

Gratitude: The Key to Abundance

What you appreciate, appreciates.

The more you tune into the frequency of gratitude, the more magnetic you become. Your frequency rises. Your energy expands. And life responds in alignment with this shift.

Gratitude doesn’t make your life perfect, rather it makes you more present for the beauty, the lessons, and the gifts already here. It helps you see possibility inside of challenge and transformation within discomfort. Gratitude is a choice; choosing to anchor your energy into abundance rather than lack.

Where your focus goes, your energy flows.
And where your energy flows, you create more of that energetic frequency.

Simple Ways to Cultivate Gratitude

Keep a Gratitude Journal:
Write what you’re grateful for, not in a superficial way, but a poetic and authentic way. Pause. Breathe. Feel the frequency land in your body.

Express Appreciation:
Appreciate those around you. Appreciation deepens connection and expands hearts.

Practice Presence:
Meet the moment: embrace the sunlight, your breath, the breeze, the birds - anything that anchors you back into the moment. Your power is in your presence. The more present you are, the more powerful you become.

Reframe Challenges:
See challenges as catalysts for your growth and becoming. See them as portals to your power. There is always something to alchemize, and you are the alchemist.

Celebrate Your Wins:
Big or small, acknowledge your growth. You’ve come so far. When you look back you see how far you've come and this inspires you to continue onward on your journey of becoming and evolving.

Contemplations for the Week

What and who in your life are you truly, deeply grateful for?

Where do you feel the frequency of gratitude in your body?

How can you anchor gratitude into your daily life?

Expanding Our Competence

If you feel resistance to gratitude or find it hard to access, imagine your life without one of the blessings you currently have—then return to the feeling of having it. That sensation is gratitude. Gratitude is a practice. It is a choice in every moment. It requires time and devotion. The more you practice it the more you transform an unconscious incompetence into a conscious competence and later an unconscious competence.

I want to thank you for being here. Thank you for your presence, your energy, and your devotion to your growth.

I am truly, deeply grateful for you.

May you have a beautiful Thanksgiving Holiday filled with joy, presence, and gratitude.
